Endlich, endlich, endlich!
Voller Freude kann ich verkĂŒnden, dass das leidige Thema »Release der FĂŒchsin« endlich nach ĂŒber vier Jahren Stress und Ărger mit einem Label, dessen Namen man sich getrost sparen kann, beendet ist. Ab sofort kann man sich die DVD ĂŒber den Tupamaros Shop bestellen. Kleiner Wermutstropfen: Ich kann die DVD nur als Download und nicht als gepresste DVD anbieten. Die Downloadgeschwindigkeit ist aber gut, weswegen es trotz des beachtlichen Pakets nicht allzu lange dauern sollte, alles herunterzuladen.
Worum gehtâs in »Die FĂŒchsin«?
In den 1930er Jahren floriert die Unterwelt. Der skrupellose Toni Oswald zieht die Strippen. Sein Spielplatz ist der legendĂ€re Renard Rouge und die TĂ€nzerin Celine die geheimnisvolle Frau an seiner Seite. Doch ein finsterer Fremder und ein alter Bekannter bringen Unruhe in die Stadt, dazu gebrochene Nasen und eine offene Rechnung âŠ

⊠und was kostet der SpaĂ?: Die Erdmann Edition kostet lĂ€ppische 2 Euro, die Classic Edition nur 1 Euro. Das Prinzip nennt sich »Name Your Price« und bedeutet, dass Ihr gerne mehr zahlen könnt, aber nicht mĂŒsst.
Die DVDs mĂŒssen ĂŒbrigens nicht zwangslĂ€ufig auf DatentrĂ€ger gebrannt werden, sondern können auch »gemountet« werden. Das bedeutet, dass Ihr Euch die DVD wie eine normale Mediendatei direkt auf Eurem Computer angucken könnt. Eine ausfĂŒhrliche Beschreibung, wie das funktioniert ist in beiden Editionen enthalten.

Finally, finally, finally!
Full of joy, I can announce that the damn story "releasing Celine Dances Today" is over. It took more than four years and lots of stress and anger with a distributor whose name is not worth to mention, but now itâs done: You can order my second movie from now on in the Tupamaros Shop.
Thereâs just one little blemish: I can only deliver a downloadable DVD and not a pressed one. Anyway, the download rate is good, so the time to download the pretty big package shouldnât take too long.
Whatâs the story of "Celine Dances Today"?
Germany in the beginning 1930s: Cold blooded gangster Toni Oswald pulls the strings in the underworld. His playground is the legendary "Renard Rouge" and dancer Celine mysterious woman at his side. Suddenly, a dark foreigner and an old friend appear. That does not only mean trouble but also broken noses and an unpaid invoiceâŠ

âŠHow much is the fish?: You can get the Meerkat Edition for pathetic 2 euro, the Classic Edition is even cheaper: 1 euro. The principle is called »Name Your Price« and means that you are allowed to pay more⊠but you donât have to.
By the way: You donât have to burn the DVDs! You can also "mount" them and play them like media files on your computer. A manual (unfortunately so far just in German) is attached to the editions. The DVDâs menus and the bonus material are in German and do not contain subtitles. Iâm sorry about that. Same problem with the Tupamaros Shop and website. But Iâm working on it and try to offer an English version of Tupamaros Film Productionsâ website as soon as possible.
