Endlich, endlich, endlich!
Voller Freude kann ich verkünden, dass das leidige Thema »Release der Füchsin« endlich nach über vier Jahren Stress und Ärger mit einem Label, dessen Namen man sich getrost sparen kann, beendet ist. Ab sofort kann man sich die DVD über den Tupamaros Shop bestellen. Kleiner Wermutstropfen: Ich kann die DVD nur als Download und nicht als gepresste DVD anbieten. Die Downloadgeschwindigkeit ist aber gut, weswegen es trotz des beachtlichen Pakets nicht allzu lange dauern sollte, alles herunterzuladen.
Worum geht’s in »Die Füchsin«?
In den 1930er Jahren floriert die Unterwelt. Der skrupellose Toni Oswald zieht die Strippen. Sein Spielplatz ist der legendäre Renard Rouge und die Tänzerin Celine die geheimnisvolle Frau an seiner Seite. Doch ein finsterer Fremder und ein alter Bekannter bringen Unruhe in die Stadt, dazu gebrochene Nasen und eine offene Rechnung …

Erdmann Edition
»Die Füchsin« auf DVD-5:
Passt auf einen normalen DVD-Rohling (4,7 GB); enthält aber nur den Film und kein Bonusmaterial.
»Die Füchsin« auf DVD-9:
Die komplette DVD mit knapp 110 Minuten Bonusmaterial und animierten Menüs; DVD-R DL (8,5 GB) benötigt.
Single »Erdmännchen Swing« von The Skaliners in den Formaten WAV und MP3.

… und was kostet der Spaß? Die Erdmann Edition kostet läppische 2 Euro, die Classic Edition nur 1 Euro. Das Prinzip nennt sich »Name Your Price« und bedeutet, dass Ihr gerne mehr zahlen könnt, aber nicht müsst.
Die DVDs müssen übrigens nicht zwangsläufig auf Datenträger gebrannt werden, sondern können auch »gemountet« werden. Das bedeutet, dass Ihr Euch die DVD wie eine normale Mediendatei direkt auf Eurem Computer angucken könnt. Eine ausführliche Beschreibung, wie das funktioniert, ist in beiden Editionen enthalten.

Finally, finally, finally!
I am very happy to announce that the damn "release of Celine Dances Today" story is finally over. It took more than four years and involved plenty of stress and anger with a distributor whose name is not worth mentioning, but now it is done: From now on, you can order my second film from the Tupamaros Shop. There is just one small drawback: I can only offer the DVD as a download, not as a pressed disc. Still, the download speed is good, so despite the fairly large package, it should not take too long to download everything.
What is "Celine Dances Today" about?
Germany in the early 1930s: Cold-blooded gangster Toni Oswald is pulling the strings in the underworld. His playground is the legendary "Renard Rouge", and dancer Celine is the mysterious woman at his side. Suddenly, a dark stranger and an old acquaintance appear. This means trouble, broken noses and an unpaid debt…

Fits on a regular DVD-R (4.7 GB); contains only the short film and no bonus material.
"Celine Dances Today" on DVD-9:
The complete DVD with approx. 110 minutes of bonus material and animated menus; DVD-R DL (8.5 GB) required.
The single "Erdmännchen Swing" ("Meerkat Swing") by The Skaliners in WAV and MP3.
Classic Edition

…How much is the fish? You can get the Meerkat Edition for a pathetic 2 euros; the Classic Edition is even cheaper: 1 euro. The principle is called "Name Your Price", which means that you are welcome to pay more… but you do not have to.
By the way: You do not have to burn the DVDs! You can also "mount" them and play them like media files on your computer. A manual — unfortunately, so far only in German — is included with the editions. The DVD menus and the bonus material are in German and do not contain subtitles. I am sorry about that. The same applies to the Tupamaros Shop and website. But I am working on it and trying to offer an English version of the Tupamaros Film Productions website as soon as possible.
