Ein schöner, kleiner Bericht aus Guam ...

Hallo Welt!

Nein, ich war leider nicht auf Guam, um das Guam International Film Festival (GIFF) zu besuchen. Allerdings zeigten sich die Veranstalter rund um Program Director Kel Muna sowohl vor als auch nach dem Festival als äußerst sympathisch und kooperativ. So schickte mir Kel Muna kurz nach dem Festival, bei dem Erinnerungen leider keinen Preis erhielt, folgende äußerst erfreuliche E-Mail:

"Just touching base with you to let you know that your film was very well received by the GIFF audiences! Out of all of the shorts in your programming blocks, it was 'Memories' that most people were talking about as they were exiting the theatre! They were referring to it as '… that really good German film'. 🙂 There were actually a few who were talking to me about it afterwards and said that they were really fighting back tears. Fantastic job! Oh … and your personal welcome video was a hit as well. They loved that you greeted the audience with a 'Hafa Adai'. Nice!"

So etwas liest man doch gerne! Bei dem lustigen »welcome video«, von dem Kel schreibt, handelt es sich übrigens um die kleine Peinlichkeit hier nebenan …

No, unfortunately I was not on Guam to attend the Guam International Film Festival (GIFF). However, the organizers around Program Director Kel Muna were extremely friendly and cooperative both before and after the festival. Shortly after the festival, where Memories unfortunately did not win an award, Kel Muna sent me the following very pleasing email:
