Jetzt geht’s hier aber plötzlich Knall auf Fall. Da wartet man wochenlang auf Antworten von Festivals und dann kommen gleich zwei innerhalb von 24 Stunden. Und jetzt wird’s auch noch richtig spektakulär: Erinnerungen wird auf dem WorldKids International Film Festival in Indien zu sehen sein!
Das WorldKids International Film Festival ist zudem nicht nur in einer Stadt zu Hause, sondern ist ein reisendes Filmfestival. Das heißt, dass unser Filmchen wohl mehrfach in Indien zu sehen sein wird.
Bei diesem Festival – ich muss mich selbst jetzt erst noch einmal ein wenig einlesen – scheint es sich außerdem nicht um einen Wettbewerb, sondern um eine Art Lehrprogramm zu handeln. »Erinnerungen« läuft im Lessons in the Dark school program.
… und jetzt habe ich mich eingelesen, hehe: »Erinnerungen« läuft nicht im Wettbewerb, sondern wird über den Zeitraum eines kompletten Jahres in indischen Schulklassen aufgeführt. Weitere Informationen gibt es, wenn ihr die besucht und auf den Mittelfinger klickt.

Things are suddenly happening thick and fast here. You wait for weeks for replies from festivals and then two arrive within 24 hours. And now it is getting properly spectacular: Memories will be shown at the WorldKids International Film Festival in India!
The WorldKids International Film Festival is also not based in just one city, but is a traveling film festival. That means our little film will probably be shown several times in India.
This festival – I still have to read up on it a bit myself – also seems not to be a competition, but rather some kind of educational program. "Memories" is part of the Lessons in the Dark school program.
… and now I have read up on it, hehe: "Memories" is not running in competition, but will be shown in Indian classrooms over the course of a full year. More information is available if you visit the and click on the middle finger.
