»Erinnerungen« gewinnt in Marbella!
"Memories" Wins in Marbella!
Hallo Welt!
Es ist schlichtweg unglaublich und fühlt sich noch immer wie ein Traum an. Ich bin vor wenigen Stunden aus Marbella zurückgekommen und kann noch immer nicht glauben, dass wir tatsächlich den Award für den besten internationalen Kurzfilm gewonnen haben!
Aus knapp 1.000 Einreichungen wurden 22 Kurzfilme ausgewählt, die während der fünf Tage des Festivals dreimal vorgeführt wurden. Auch das war eine äußerst coole Geschichte: drei Screenings … das hat was! Neben den Kurzfilmen wurden auch Dokumentationen, Animationskurzfilme und Langfilme gezeigt. »Erinnerungen« war der einzige deutsche Kurzfilm im Programm des Festivals. Hinzu kommen noch ein deutsch-österreichischer Animationskurzfilm, eine deutsche Doku und zwei Langfilme aus Deutschland.
Die Qualität der Filme auf dem Marbella International Film Festival war wahnsinnig hoch. Zudem kamen die Filme und ihre Macher aus der ganzen Welt angereist: Hongkong, Japan, Brasilien, Argentinien, Singapur, England, Mexiko, Spanien, Venezuela, USA, Holland, Russland, Libanon, Kolumbien etc.
Ich hoffe sehr, dass die entstandenen Freundschaften sehr, sehr lange aktiv gehalten werden. Ich hatte extrem viel Spaß und bin sehr dankbar, so viele tolle Menschen mit dem gemeinsamen Interesse »Film« kennenlernen zu dürfen.
Ich habe letzte Nacht nicht geschlafen, bin deshalb noch äußerst müde, habe aber unzählige Geschichten zu erzählen. Während des Festivals habe ich deswegen auch fleißig gefilmt und werde versuchen, schnellstmöglich ein Videotagebuch zu schneiden und online zu stellen, damit ihr einen Einblick in diese tollen fünf Tage bekommt und meine Freunde und Kollegen eine schöne Erinnerung an Marbella haben.

Hello world!
It’s simply unbelievable and still feels like a dream. I returned from Marbella just a few hours ago and still cannot believe that we actually won the award for Best International Short Film!
Out of almost 1,000 submissions, 22 short films were selected and screened three times over the festival’s five days. That alone was pretty cool: three screenings … that’s something! In addition to the short films, documentaries, animated shorts and feature films were also shown. "Memories" was the only German short film in the festival program. There was also a German-Austrian animated short, a German documentary and two feature films from Germany.
The quality of the films at the Marbella International Film Festival was incredibly high. The films and their makers had come from all over the world: Hong Kong, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Singapore, England, Mexico, Spain, Venezuela, the USA, the Netherlands, Russia, Lebanon, Colombia etc.
I very much hope that the friendships formed there will stay alive for a very, very long time. I had an incredible amount of fun and am very grateful to have met so many wonderful people who share the same interest: film.
I didn’t sleep last night, so I’m still extremely tired, but I have countless stories to tell. That’s also why I filmed a lot during the festival. I’ll try to edit a video diary and put it online as soon as possible, to give you a glimpse of those wonderful five days and to give my friends and colleagues a nice memory of Marbella.
