Dem ein oder anderen von euch dürfte es bereits aufgefallen sein: Hier sieht es anders aus!

Nach langem Arbeiten an der neuen Website ist diese nun bereits seit dem 5. Mai online. Was hat sich geändert? Eine Menge: Neben dem neuen Design habe ich meine bisherigen Webauftritte unter dennisknickel.com, dennisknickel.de und blog.dennisknickel.de zu einer einzigen stimmigen Website zusammengeführt. Außerdem hat sich die Adresse geändert! Die neue Website ist zwar nach wie vor unter den alten Adressen erreichbar, oben in der Adresszeile werdet ihr aber zur neuen URL weitergeleitet:

dennisknickel.com

Die Website ist außerdem über tupamaros-film.com zu finden.

Eine der wichtigsten Neuerungen ist die Tatsache, dass meine Website auf jeder Seite bilingual ist/sein wird – noch habe ich nicht alle Texte übersetzt. Ihr werdet also fortan nicht nur sämtliche Neuigkeiten auf Deutsch und auf Englisch vorfinden, sondern auch jede einzelne Seite (bei der es Sinn macht und ich mich nicht selbst in den Wahnsinn treibe … die Reiseberichte übersetze ich also nicht, hehe).

Das Hauptmenü findet ihr rechts. Von hier aus könnt ihr meine verschiedenen Projekte ansteuern:

Let Your Light Shine in the World

»Let Your Light Shine in the World« ist der Name meiner Reisebuchreihe. Hier findet ihr also alles über meine Bücher – egal ob bereits erschienen, noch in Arbeit oder in der Warteschlange. Apropos: Serendipity wird nur noch wenige Tage komplett online sein! Einen Releasetermin für das Buch und E-Book gibt es allerdings noch nicht.

Lost Cabaret

Diese Seite ist noch die größte Baustelle. In Bälde werdet ihr euch hier aber über das Cabaret der Verlorenen, Berlins kultige 1920er-Show, informieren können. Aller Voraussicht nach wird es Informationen zu den einzelnen Charakteren und Darstellern geben, Videos aus den einzelnen Episoden und Termine für künftige Shows. Die letzte Show der aktuellen dritten Staffel findet notabene am 5. Juni statt! Wie immer im Frannz Club in der Kulturbrauerei (Einlass: 21 Uhr).

News

Dies ist der alte und auch neue Blog. Vergesst nicht, euch zu registrieren, damit ihr auf dem Laufenden bleibt und nichts verpasst. Nach eurer Registrierung werdet ihr über Nachrichten wie diese (und die sonst wesentlich interessanteren) per E-Mail informiert.

Ja, der Tupamaros Shop ist auch umgezogen. Hier findet ihr meine Filme und Bücher sowie die CDs von Monokelpopper Daniel Malheur (Lost Cabaret).

Dann hoffe ich mal, dass euch die neue Seite genauso gut gefällt wie mir. Noch ist nicht alles fertig und Änderungsvorschläge können gerne unterbreitet werden. So manche Änderung habe ich auch noch vor. Hier wird sich also noch einiges tun. Ihr wisst, wie ihr auf dem Laufenden bleibt.

Hello world!

Some of you may already have noticed: Things look different around here!

After a lot of work on the new website, it has been online since May 5. What has changed?
A lot: In addition to the new design, I have merged my previous web presences at dennisknickel.com, dennisknickel.de and blog.dennisknickel.de into one coherent website. Furthermore, the address has changed! The new website is still accessible via the old addresses, but in the address bar you will be redirected to the new URL:

dennisknickel.com

The website is also accessible via tupamaros-film.com.

One of the most important new features is the fact that my website is/will be bilingual – I have not translated everything yet. From now on, you will not only get all news in English and German, but also every single page in both languages. Except for the travel reports. Translating them would take ages. Sorry for that.

"Let Your Light Shine in the World" is the name of my travel book series. Here you will find all information about my books – whether they have already been published, are still in development or are waiting in the queue. Speaking of which: Serendipity will only be completely online for a few more days! There is no release date for the book and e-book yet, though.

Lost Cabaret

This page is still under construction. In the near future, you will be able to get all the information you need about the Lost Cabaret, Berlin’s cult 1920s show. In all likelihood, I will inform you about the characters and actors, post videos from the live shows and provide you with upcoming show dates. By the way: The last show of the current third season will take place on June 5. As always, it will be at Frannz Club in Berlin’s Kulturbrauerei (doors open at 9 pm).

Yes, the Tupamaros Shop has moved here as well. You will find all my movies and books here, as well as the CDs by Daniel Malheur (MonokelPop/Lost Cabaret).

You should not overlook the sitemap I have linked below. It is the table of contents of the website. This way, you will not miss any page – and some of the subpages could easily be overlooked. So feel free to take a look and check whether you have really seen all the content on the new website.
